AI Coding Platforms: Independent Guides
Independent guides to the AI coding platforms Vibrr works with, written from official documentation and clearly separating what a source states from what Vibrr recommends. A platform gets a guide only when Vibrr has read enough of its documentation to add something the vendor's own pages do not. Platforms not yet verified are listed below with the reason, rather than covered with guesses.
Platforms
Lovable
An AI app builder driven by prompts: you describe an application, iterate on it through chat, and refine it with Plan Mode, project Knowledge and a preview toolbar.
Guide published. Sources last read 2026-09-18.
Cursor
An AI code editor with an agent that works inside your repository, steered by persistent Project Rules, User Rules, Team Rules and AGENTS.md.
Guide published. Sources last read 2026-09-18.
Replit
A browser-based development platform whose Agent turns plain-language requests into working projects — setting up the project, building, checking its own work and fixing problems.
Guide published. Sources last read 2026-09-18.
Claude Code
An agentic coding tool that reads your codebase, edits files, runs commands and integrates with development tools, available in the terminal, IDEs, a desktop app and the browser.
Guide published. Sources last read 2026-09-18.
Bolt
An AI tool that turns ideas into websites and apps, with Plan mode, project-context management, a database, GitHub integration and publishing.
Not published yet. Only the support home page could be read; docs.bolt.new does not resolve from the research environment. That is an overview, not enough depth for a page that adds value beyond the vendor's own. Held as draft until the prompting and integration pages are read.
Windsurf
An agentic coding environment built around the Cascade agent. Current product naming needs re-verification — see status reason.
Not published yet. The product's current name and ownership could not be established from the source. A page that guessed would risk publishing a wrong or outdated claim about a named vendor. Held as draft until the relationship is confirmed from an official announcement.
Emergent
An AI-powered development platform that, per its own site, builds applications from natural-language conversation.
Not published yet. Only the vendor's marketing site could be read; docs.emergent.sh does not resolve from the research environment. Marketing claims are recorded as such (lower confidence ceiling) and pricing is deliberately not recorded because it changes. Held as draft until technical documentation is read.
Codex
OpenAI's coding agent, documented across a CLI, an IDE extension, cloud environments and ChatGPT surfaces.
Not published yet. Only a documentation index was read, and developers.openai.com/codex redirected (308) to learn.chatgpt.com/docs, a destination Vibrr has not independently confirmed as the canonical vendor documentation. The brief requires researching current official documentation before publishing Codex claims; that has not been completed.
Comparisons
Neutral, documentation-based comparisons: Cursor compared with Claude Code. More will follow only when both platforms have been verified and there is something specific to say.
Platform-independent engineering
The engineering guides apply to any AI-built app, and the research section explains how Vibrr separates documented facts from measured results.
